Joshua Shapiro and Jonathan Hebert are Made Liars.  Long time friends who quickly realized their love for similar kinds of music.

12 years later and they're finally writing music together.

Both Josh and Jonathan write songs, or snippets of songs.  They record rough demos in their home studios; usually just a guitar and a voice humming; then send across the internet for the other to magicize it.  That snippet suddenly becomes a full symphony orchestra, or a hard rock band, or 4-part harmony over finger-picked guitars.  Whatever the outcome; spirits soar.

The aforementioned "similar kinds of music" are artists like: Radiohead; Fleet Foxes; Band Of Horses; Bob Dylan; Failure; Dirty Projectors; The Beatles; Grizzly Bear; James Blake; The Band; Beach Boys; and the list goes on.
